NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hamilton Township Zoning Hearing Board, (the “Board”), will hold a continuation of the public hearing at the Monroe County Public Safety Center located on Gypsum Road, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 commencing at 6:30 p.m., prevailing time, on December 14, 2023, for the purpose of considering the Application of Joseph A. Tavianini, Jr. (the “Applicant”) for the following: 1. An interpretation of the following sections of the Hamilton Township Zoning Ordinance (the “Ordinance”): Sections 201.4, Specific Terms; Article III; Schedule I Regulations Governing the Use of Land; §402.2 Special Uses (Use Class 12-Appropriate Public Uses); 2. In the alternative, the Applicant has applied for (a) Special Exception approval to operate a public use pursuant to §402.2(d), (b) a use variance to operate a public use in the C-1 Zoning District, and (c) a substantive validity challenge to the Ordinance contending that a Parking Area, Public is not permitted by the Ordinance.

The Applicant’s property consists of two (2) tracts designated as: (i) Lot 1 – T A2734 Saylorsburg, PA 18353, Property Tax Assessment PIN #07.119961; and (ii) Lot 2 – 308 Lake Rd., Saylorsburg, PA 18353, Property Tax Assessment PIN #07.119962. The Applicant’s property is located in the C-1 Zoning District and is presently vacant land.

A copy of the Application and the full text of the Ordinance and the Zoning Map are available for public inspection prior to the date of the hearing which inspection may occur at the Hamilton Township Municipal Building, 229 Fenner Avenue, Sciota, PA 18354 between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., prevailing time, Monday through Friday on days which are not federal or state public holidays. The public and all interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and to present all relevant evidence in connection therewith.
